United Methodist Women

The missions and outreach of United Methodist Women are driven by a passionate commitment to serve and make a positive impact in our community and beyond.

Through various initiatives, we aim to promote social justice, advocate for women, children, and youth, and address local and global needs. Our programs focus on empowering women to strengthen their faith, take leadership roles, and make a difference in the world. Join us as we work together to spread love, compassion, and hope, fulfilling our mission to transform lives and create a more just and equitable society.

Our fundraising activities include Bingo, Bake Sales, Pecan/Nuts Sale, and a twice-yearly rummage sale.

United Methodist Women are proud supporters of the following organizations

The distinct ministry of Camp Wesley Woods inspires children, youth, and adults to live in Christian community, to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, and to experience adventure in the midst of God's wondrous creation.

The Friendsville Volunteer Fire Department consists of about 20 men and women who devote countless hours each year to the volunteer fire service.

Our mission is to help families experiencing homelessness achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.

The Gideons International is an Association of Christian professionals who are dedicated to telling people about Jesus through associating together for service, sharing personal testimony, and by providing Bibles and New Testaments.

More than 200,000 East Tennesseans are at-risk of hunger, uncertain where their next meal will come from. At Second Harvest Food Bank, we are trying to change that statistic in 18 East Tennessee counties
